Sage oil is used to treat infections and inflammations of the mucous membranes of the throat and mouth. Sage oil is also used as a general medication for bronchitis, fever, rheumatism, perspiration, and nervous diseases. Sage oil is a good choice for treating arthritis and rheumatism because it is an anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial. Sage oil is not recommended for use during pregnancy because it may be harmful to the baby.
